Nichole has been a fitness junkie since birth. In addition to instructing at Turnstyle Cycle, Nichole teaches yoga for athletes and is a USATF certified run coach. She has competed in ELEVEN Boston Marathons. Nichole’s belief in the balancing benefits of community fitness led her to develop “The Zone” program for Boston Public Schools, which has provided thousands of at-risk teens an opportunity to reconnect to their academic futures through sports. A former Zumba instructor, Tara brings 6 years of fitness experience to the Turnstyle team. Derek boasts a familiar corporate cog-turned-fitness pro story. Having completed his Masters in structural engineering, and after four years as a bridge engineer in Philly, Derek needed to escape the desk life. So, two years ago, in August 2012, Derek moved back to his hometown of Boston and started his life as a fitness professional. In addition to Turnstyle TRX classes, Derek also instructs at Barry's Bootcamp, and runs his own personal training business.
